Shivapuri is one of the national parks of Nepal. Over here we can do trekking also with Nagarkot. Shivapuri Nagarkot Dhulikhel Trekking is one of the best short treks around Kathmandu Valley. While trekking in this region you will be offered places of whole Kathmandu valley with the enjoyment of nature. Shivapuri Nagarkot Trek starts from Budhanilkantha the north of Kathmandu valley which is a holy shrine of Lord Vishnu sleeping on the snake from where we start our actual trek to Shivapuri village which lies on the northeast part of the valley. Shivapuri National Park lies between subtropical and temperate climate zone where diverse vegetation is found.
Shivapuri Nagarkot Trekking offers us various types of flora and fauna. You can know detail about the Pine species, Oak species, Utis species (Altus Nepal ensues), bamboo and rhododendron forests, and much other vegetation with rare animals like Sloth Bear, Wild Boar, Indian Pangolin, Muntjac, Leopard, Common Langur, Large Indian Civet, and so on. Shivapuri village has the rich tradition and culture of the people due to which we can experience their lifestyle also. After Shivapuri, we will walk to Chisapani. It is famous for the panoramic viewpoint. You can view the spectacular views of Manaslu Ranges, Langtang Massif, Gaurishankar, Dorje Lakpa, Everest, Annapurna Massif, Ganesh Himal Ranges, and many others peaks from Chisapani.
From Chisapani, we march from Nagarkot to Dhulikhel. It is also equally famous for the pleasant mountain views situated at the altitude of 2100m to 1100m above sea level. Nagarkot can be the best destination for tourists which is popular for its phenomenal views of sunrise and sunset. Nagarkot to Dhulikhel is descending trip as beautiful Mountain Views and easy trekking destination Banepa and Dhulikhel. We eventually return back to Kathmandu by viewing Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Changunarayan. This marks the end of our Shivapuri Nagarkot Dhulikhel Trekking in Nepal.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival and Check-in to the Hotel
On your arrival in Kathmandu at TIA, a representative of Everest Trekking Routes will warmly welcome you to Nepal. He/She will guide you towards the room of hotel of Nepal booked for you. Arrival day can be either rest day or sightseeing day of Kathmandu valley. The night will be at the hotel with the discussion about the tour and enjoy the delicious dinner.
Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour
Today, we spend the whole for the sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley with a guide. After having breakfast, we visit Pashupatinath, which is regarded as the holiest temple of Lord Shiva then to Bauddhanath known as Little Tibet. From Bauddhanath, we visit Swayambhunath known as Monkey Temple which is an ancient religious place for Buddhist. After Swayambhunath, we drive to Kathmandu (Basantpur) Durbar Square. Finally, you will have dinner at the hotel and stay there overnight.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Budhanilkantha and trek to Shivapuri
Today, we take a short drive to Budhanilkantha. We will start trekking uphill to Shivapuri which takes about five hours to reach Shivapuri National Park. Shivapuri National Park preserves several species of rare flora and fauna. We stay overnight at a guesthouse by enjoying.
Day 04: Trek from Shivapuri to Chisapani
We make starting from Shivapuri early morning. We will pass through the Tamang village named Mulkharka. By viewing the panorama of mountains around us and enjoying the nature, we will reach Chisapani. We will stay overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 05: Trek from Chisapani to Nagarkot
Today, we trek to Nagarkot for about 7 hours. We should pass Chauki Bhanjyang to reach our destination. It is located at 2175m. From Nagarkot, we will enjoy the beautiful Himalayan ranges in the clear weather. You can also enjoy the best view of Kathmandu Valley from Nagarkot with sunrise and sunset.
Day 06: Drive from Nagarkot to Dhulikhel
We should get up early in the morning to see the amazing sunrise views. If the weather is fine, you can have the best sunrise view with the awe-inspiring views of the snow-capped Himalayas. After having breakfast, trek to Dhulikhel such a wonderful hiking Saga, Banepa and Dhulikhel.
Day 07: Drive from Dhulikhel to Kathmandu
Early morning after sunrise views Langtang Himalayan range and beautiful views. After breakfast one hour drive to Kathmandu.
Day 08: Final Departure
After having a relaxing night at Kathmandu, finally, the day of returning back to our home country and busy schedule has come with the ending of our interesting tour over to the highlands of Nepal Everest Trekking Routes will organize a small farewell program at the airport and will help for any inconvenience that may arise during the departure.
